Firstly I wanted to apologise for not being here yesterday but I'm back now and thought with the cold season coming in, I would give you all a list of pro's and con's for the impending chilly season! From bitterly cold mornings and longer nights, to Christmas appearing evermore present in the shops it's clear to see that hiding from winter and all it entails is soon going to be a fruitless task.
I'll start with the pro's of the cold weather and the winter season:
Pros:
1. Snuggly nights in with your baggy jumpers, warm cups of tea/hot chocolate and sticking the fire on (or central heating if you don't live with a fancy fire place)

3. Nights get longer which means more time in bed and PJ's for days...weekends....months..
4. Seeing everyone's Christmas lights....(and perhaps realising how crap yours are)
5. Christmas of course! The shopping, the light switch on's, the songs and of course the adverts, namely the coca-cola advert!
6. While new winter clothes are coming in the shops, Festive menus are also coming in at restaurants and cafe's! Starbucks' pumpkin spiced latte for Autumn/winter is a popular seasonal hit. (The chocolate brownie hot chocolate from Costa was AMAZING!!)
The Cons
1. The weather. It's flippin cold outside meaning you have to put on a million layers before you can even be brave enough to step foot outside
2. With the weather being bad, there is peril EVERYWHERE!
3. Simply popping out to the shop or to work means an hour bent over the windscreen with an ice scraper (unless you have a heated front windscreen of course)
4. The fight to stay warm. When you are all snuggly, it's great but getting to that warm and snuggly stage can take a while and can lead to you taking rather drastic measures!
5. While there's more time to sleep, the days are a lot shorter. Go to work in the dark, come home in the dark....It can get a bit depressing
So that's it! The pro's and con's of the jolly season. While some aspects of winter are annoying, remind yourself that it's the best time of year for films. So get layered up, grab a warm drink and dig out those festive film favourites!! When the harshness of winter gets you down, just remember...Santa is coming
